Shelley Sanders has been the Owner/Operator of Kingdom Kidz Childcare Services since January 2007. She is passionate about children! She is committed to providing quality care to children. She strongly believes children have the potential for greatness and God has a good plan for their lives! She is a big advocate of education and believes learning is best retained when it is fun, exciting, and memorable! Shelley is committed to providing experiences, lessons, and activities that will stimulate the developmental domain of the child. She believes children learn about their world when they experience it. She likes to take the children on field trips to the park, museum, the library, walks in the neighborhood, farmers’ market, to feed the goats, etc. Every day is an adventure at Kingdom Kidz Childcare Services!
Shelley Sanders is the mother of three beautiful children and two granddaughters. She is a woman of God. She is an Associate Minister at Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she has taught children/youth the Word of God for over 25 years. Shelley is concerned about the spiritual development of children. She prays with her students before meals, and they talk about Jesus. Shelley is in her fourth year at Campbell University Divinity School pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Education with a concentration in youth ministry.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Provide a safe environment for the children and families.
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with the children and families.
-Provide routine care for the children.
-Educate and prepare children for public education.
-Promote family involvement.
-Be an advocate for the children and their families.
-Maintain First Aid & Infant/Adult CPR certification.
